Filmmaker Guy Ritchie is planning to install 200 solar panels to make his home self-sufficient for electricity. The Sherlock Holmes director has applied for the permission to the local council to place the sun-catching panels in a field near his home in Ashcombe, England.

However, local council boss Gordon Marks has claimed he has not yet seen the plans. “We have not heard about this. We will wait to see the plans”, dailymail.co.uk quoted Marks as saying.
