Huma Qureshi recently returned from her first trip to the Cannes Film Festival, where her film debut, Gangs Of Wasseypur, received a standing ovation. “Even though members of the audience didn’t understand the language, they smiled and clapped at the right moments, which was fantastic to watch,” she says, adding, “With the post-screening parties keeping the energy high, it’s easy to see why this is everybody’s favourite film festival. Even when we were going down for breakfast, people were so immaculately dressed. It inspires you to put your best foot forward.”
