Satanic Verses novelist Salman Rushdie has turned satiric in a series of Twitter feeds about the doomed marriage of reality TV star Kim Kardashian.
Kardashian announced this week she was filing for divorce from professional basketball player Kris Humphries after 72 days.
Rushdie tweeted late Tuesday: "The marriage of poor kim (pound)kardashian was krushed like a kar in a krashian"
"her kris kried, not fair! why kan't I keep my share?"
"But kardashian fell klean outa fashian."
Rushdie tweeted on @SalmanRushdie his inspiration was that he was challenged and he "Can't resist a challenge."
