British comedian Russell Brand's ex-girlfriend Georgina Baillie wants him to consult a psychiatrist before he ties the knot with fiancee Katy Perry.

Before getting engaged to Perry, Brand was infamous for womanizing. Baillie, who was in an on-off relationship with the actor for a year, fears Brand will always be a ladies man, reports contactmusic.com.

"He (Brand) has a habit of dating a girl for a while, declaring, 'She's the one,' then losing interest quickly. Poor Katy's going to have her heart broken," said Baillie.

"It would be a good idea for him to get a psychiatrist's opinion (before he weds). He should really get some help."

Brand and Perry are set to marry in October.
