If all goes well, Dev Anand will get reclusive yesteryear actress Sadhana to make a rare appearance for the media. She is expected to be present at the unveiling of the promo of the coloured version of the classic film Hum Dono that is slated to re-release in January 2011.
Sadhana has not made any public appearance for a long time, with the 1974 movie Geeta Mera Naam being her last outing as an actor. Following that, she was rarely ever seen at any public event.
Hum Dono, that was the last black and white movie from Navketan Films, released in 1961 and had Sadhana and Nanda playing the female leads with Dev Anand. The film is also remembered for its classic songs like Main zindagi ka saath nibhata chala gaya... and Abhi na jaao chhodkar...
After receiving numerous fan requests to colour this classic film, Dev Anand decided to re-release the coloured version in theatres all over. The film has been colourised using the most advanced technology.
