Gomez confessed her liking for Cole before singing a cover version of her hit Parachute to a crowd of young fans. “When I was in London last year, I fell in love with a British artist. Her name is Cheryl Cole,” the Daily Mail quoted her as saying.

“You might not know this song, but I feel its lyrics are very beautiful. It’s called Parachute,” she added. Though the singer is almost unknown in the US, she has found a fan in the young Gomez.
