Shah Rukh Khan and Rohit Shetty are turning buddies it seems. On March 14 Rohit Shetty turned 40. Shah Rukh Khan has been shooting with Rohit Shetty for Chennai Express. This is his first collaboration with him and second with the film's female lead Deepika Padukone after Om Shani Om (2007).
To everyone's surprise SRK reportedly planned a birthday bash for him. Not only that the actor, quite generously gifted Shetty an Ed Hardy bike considering his passion for bikes and cars, reports Mid-Day.
The tabloid says that Shah Rukh Khan organised the do himself and invited Rohit Shetty's family also.
The A source told the daily, “It was a classy affair. The entire cast and crew were invited and SRK’s co-star Deepika Padukone was also present. SRK had made sure that none of the unit members informed Rohit about the party.”Rohit Shetty was overwhelmed by the gesture, the tabloid reports.

Don was origianlly a Big B film which released in 1978 which was directed by Chandra Barot. Needless to say it was a huge hit in its day and has gained a cult status. It's success inspired two Farhan Akhtar-directed SRK-starrer films - Don: The Chase Begins Again (2006) and Don 2: The Chase Continues (2011).
