Siddhartha Mallya is not affected by girlfriend Deepika Padukone flaunting an ‘RK’ tattoo, dedicated to her ex boyfriend Ranbir Kapoor, on the nape of her neck. On the soon to be aired episode of TV show Simi Selects India’s Most Desirable on Star World, Siddhartha said, “Deepika Paukone’s RK tattoo has no bearings on me.”
He said that he first met Deepika at the launch of Kingfisher Calender in 2009 and didn’t know who she was. “I didn’t know who she was. I asked someone, ‘Who’s She? A Singer? A model? She’s a lovely girl, so down to earth and caring,” he said. When a photograph of the two kissing at an IPL game last month was shown to him, he said, “Kiss was a must to win the game.”
The 24-year-old also said that he is not apologetic about his lifestyle. “I am 24, I enjoy life. But I also know my responsibilities. No apologies for being a playboy,” he said, adding that he is a romantic. “At this time I am open to any type of relationship. I have a lot of female friends – just because they are not celebrities they are not talked about.”
