Cowell famously enjoyed a romance with pop princess Sinitta, 48, who was first dating his brother Nicholas. Years later, Cowell struck again when Nicholas dated Terri Seymour, 37.

He also enjoyed a fling with Mandy Perryment, who had been married to his best pal Iain Burton. But it was Cowell’s affair with Iain’s model girlfriend Vanya Seager that proved the final straw for him.

“Simon always went after his friends’ ex-girlfriends because he wasn’t very good at picking up girls himself,” says the book.
