The winners of the sub-contests of the
I AM She
contest were announced on Thursday night, at the Alila Diwa hotel in Goa. The winner will represent India at the Miss Universe pageant to be held at Las Vegas.
Mentor and ex-Miss Universe Sushmita Sen was dressed in a Wendell Rodricks creation. She was her zestful self, losing her cool only once when the DJ misplaced a music CD. But she was back to cheering for the girls within seconds. The judges for the talent round were actress Amrita Rao, actress-cum-host Sandhya Mridul and general manager of the Alila Diwa Goa, Saji Joseph.
Sen said that she has a strong feeling of history repeating itself, because it was in Goa that she won Miss India in 1994.
The winners were — Ushoshi Sengupta (fitness), Shruti Iyer (talent), Taran Kaur (congeniality), and Devina Nisal (I Am Me). After the announcement, Sen retired to her room to finish some important meetings.

However, she soon came back, wearing a summer dress, and danced till 4 in the morning. She was seen on the dance floor, shaking a leg to Bollywood tracks like
Beedi jalaile

, making sure that everyone in the room was dancing as well.
Sen announced that the finale of
I Am She
will be held in Mumbai on May 28
