Since its launch on May 24, the museum has already sold more than 35 sets of postcards, and according to an official at the museum, they continue to sell seven sets a day. However, the bestseller continues to be the toy train, which is priced at Rs 95 and Rs 105. “Parents pick up these trains for their children. Tourists and the general public also purchase these souvenirs, which serve a dual purpose — educating people and entertaining them,” explains Anuj Dayal, PRO, Delhi Metro.

He adds that souvenirs such as cufflinks, ties and books are more popular with the office going crowd. Collectibles such as pens and key-chains are also available at the museum. Interestingly, commuters can also buy a metro token as a souvenir for just Rs 4. The most expensive thing at the place is a handcrafted toy train for Rs 10,000.
