One of first designers responsible for making fashion a serious business in India, Tarun Tahiliani has had a long and illustrious run in the industry. Called ‘the master of drape’, he is known for his unique style and craftsmanship. Now, Tarun is all set to launch bridal couture.

I cannot even start… from business closure to divorce to what not. Fashion does not always breed healthy competition!
If you had to spend one crore in a day, what would you do?
Ring my favourite art galleries, Viren Bhagat, Hanut Singh or may be the Bentley showroom – that is my first base instinct. There are a lot of other worthwhile things I could do. Book my trip to the Gobi desert or to Antarctica, or send it to the Naaz home, depending on my mood.

Calling my grandmother to say Rajiv Gandhi had called, to see if she was really sick. She leapt out of bed like a dolphin!
One household chore you’d rather do yourself?
None! That is one of the great luxuries of living in India!
What do you do in a crisis?
Be still and figure out how best to hold the reins. It has never failed me!
One thing you love about your partner?
Surviving me, with a smile, and her great stillness and eternal support.
