Rocker Matt Healy has shut down rumours of dating Taylor Swift, saying they are too busy to have a relationship even if they wanted to.
The frontman of rock group The 1975 had been romantically linked to the 25-year-old musician on several occasions but insisted they have never dated.
"It's fake. It's all bloody fake. It's a farce!," he said on a radio show.
Despite admitting they "spoke occasionally", the rocker, also 25, doubts they would ever be able to have a proper relationship.
"Yeah, we met each other, we exchanged numbers in the same way that a lot of people in this kind of world do and we spoke
occasionally. And she's the biggest pop star in the world and I'm in Australia. There's no like, relationship or anything happening. It's just funny how people really, really buy into that."
