I am eating chicken, daal, matar paneer and chapatti,” Pakistani television host Begum Nawazish Ali said immediately after her ouster from the Bigg Boss house. “I’m not upset about being eliminated. I think it is better to leave people craving for more, than to leave when everybody is fed up,” he said. Ali hosted a popular talk show in Pakistan in which he dressed up as a woman.

“This is the biggest reality show in India. Every performer wants a big audience and India has that.” On Shiv Sena’s opposition to the presence of Pakistani contestants on the show, he says, “We live in the 21st century. A person in Delhi is better connected to someone in Karachi, than to a person in a far-flung area in India. I only hope that the Indian public is intelligent and knows what’s best for them. We need to spread a message of love and tolerance,” he said, adding, “Indians should consider themselves lucky that they have so many platforms to show their talent… India has produced the finest actors. I love Sridevi. Also, I want to thank everyone — people who voted for me and those who didn’t, even Mr Bal Thackeray!”
