Last year was full of controversies for you. Will this year be any different?
I have just finished the first schedule of Jag Mundhra’s The Apartment. I have also bought a new car, so I am happy. You’ve been missing from action of late... Last year, I got at least 60 film offers out of which 10 were really good and I didn’t sign 5 of those because I was just not in the right frame of mind. A few of those became hits and I really regretted it.
What is The Apartment all about?
It’s a thriller about two girls. Neetu Chandra and I play very different characters. For the first time, I am playing a victim. I have played a negative role, but never a victim. So, I am quite excited about it.
Has your look changed over the years?
I am better dressed now than I was before. It’s because my sister has moved in and she is a huge fashionista.
Your friendship with Koena Mitra is most talked-about in B Town...
We are not friends anymore. I haven’t been in touch with her for a very long time.
What went wrong?
I don’t want to comment. I am not somebody who washes dirty linen in public.
And what is up with your love life?
My emotional status is dormant at the moment. I don’t think I am ready to fall in love. I am not very social.
