An interesting insight into women’s relationship patterns has been offered through a British study. As per the study, before a woman settles down with her Mr Right, she will on an average, kiss 22 men, have four long-term relationships and get heart-broken five times — all this, before meeting “the one”.
The path to true love will also see her endure six bad dates, and be cheated on four times before finding her perfect match, a British daily, the Daily Express reported the study as stating. A typical woman will have met at least one partner online, been taken on holiday by three different men and had three long-distance relationships, says the study. It may seem like an exaggeration in the Indian context but girls here, do believe that to find true love, one has to go through the procedure of heartbreaks. “Only when you venture into knowing a guy, will you find out, whether he is the one for you,” says 26-year-old Arti Sharma.
How would you differentiate a good experience from a bad one unless you have had both, is what the young girls swear by. "I agree that you have to kiss many frogs before one of them turns into a prince. But the numbers in the study are way higher than what you would find in India," says Shigorika Singh, 21, student.

The survey also reveals that the average woman will have her first boyfriend at 15, and date nine men before settling down. She will be dumped four times and will break up with someone five times. But once they come across their perfect match, women know it’s him within the first four weeks.
