28 hours = 1,680 minutes, which means that I have to create ONE word every 3.36 minutes in order to finish this column before I land in Brazil. After 3 weeks of absconding from this weekly feature, I’ve been having repeated visions of a certain Ms. Kalra (abandoning her otherwise calm demeanor) and other members of the HT team, tracking me down and subjecting me to their very own version of Khatron Ke Khiladi (Chapatti Belan bashing included), if it is not sent to them on time! It’s not that I didn’t want to do it, it’s just that my life currently resembles a Bumblebee who accidentally flew into a big drum of Red Bull... fully charged up and buzzing between activities, events and cities in the past three weeks. So I had valid reasons!

Anyhow, I decided to be a good girl and make the most of my time on this journey. But, for some reason, my attention was continually being diverted. It had nothing to do with the seriously hunky men that were travelling to Brazil with me. Well ok, maybe it did, but not in the context you guys are thinking of! It had more to do with a thought that had been plaguing me ever since my final list of Khatron Ke Khiladi participants was decided and announced.

They had achieved individual success but they were still pushing the boundaries, aiming for more, challenging themselves to better themselves! It was the very same factor that helped them come this far... the fire that helped them overcome all obstacles. They were simply saying that FEAR was not a FACTOR in their lives. I can identify with that because, like most of the 13 guys, I also started my journey on a different path.

But, when I found my true calling, I took every challenge head on. Sometimes I won, sometimes I lost but, no matter what, I always picked myself up and moved forward. The fear of the unknown, untested and supposedly insurmountable obstacles, should never stop you or slow you down. Take the road less travelled — you’ll never regret it!

Shorts, ganji, sunglasses, sunscreen lotion, safety harness and 13 boys... I’m all set for the next 3 weeks... what do you have planned? Xoxo... PC
