She has always won critical acclaim and has been known for her unusual selection of films and now Tabu has managed to impress none other than Tom Cruise. The actor who's a huge Ang Lee fan wanted to know more about the actress who's working in his next.
"Tom is a huge Ang Lee fan and it was pretty obvious that he was more than curious to know about the Indian actress who is working in Lee's next. So when he met Tabu, they obviously had a lot to speak about," a source told Mid-Day.
In fact, the Hollywood actor was reportedly even aware of Tabu's off-beat roles and had heard lots about her film The Namesake.
"There are a few Indian actors Tom has always wanted to meet and Tabu is one of them. He told her that he wasn't as lucky as her yet, because he hasn't worked with Ang Lee," the source revealed to the tabloid. Perhaps he was hoping for her to put in a word or two for him!
Clearly, the two stars found quite a bit in common as they were seen bonding for quite a while.
