Pop star turned fashion designer Victoria Beckham miffed actor Gerard Butler when they both arrived at the party at the same time at an Oscar after party.

The 300 actor saw Victoria posing for photographers at the entrance to the hotel and turned to a friend and muttered, "Oh, I'll be here for half an hour, let's go in."

Oblivious to the hold up she was causing, Victoria kept on posing and posing and posing. An impatient Butler turned tail and headed straight into the party, Daily Mail online reported.

Once she finally made it inside, Victoria, who had earlier attended musician Elton John's party, spent the evening mingling with friends old and new.

She caught up with supermodel Heidi Klum, whom she has become close to since her move to Los Angeles and also chatted to singer and actress Jessica Simpson.

Katy Perry and Russell Brand also turned out for the occasion and proved the flame is still burning brightly in their relationship with a show off affection on the red carpet.
