Bollywood-cricket liaison makes great love stories but mostly don't have fairytale ending. The latest to join the league is cricketer Virat Kohli and ex-Miss India Sarah Jane Dias who have reportedly parted ways after dating for a couple of months.
Virat and Sara connected instantly the first time they met and the dashing cricketer had even invited Sarah for the World Cup final. Although she couldn't come to cheer the batsman as she was busy with her debut film Game's promotions but she made it a point to celebrate with the cricketer later.
The short affair came to an end before Virat went for India-West Indies ongoing tour as the duo weren't serious about their relationship. "Well, you can say that it sort of fizzled out. They tried to cement their relationship, but in their heart of hearts, they weren't serious about it. So people close to them knew that it wouldn't last," a source close to the stars told Mumbai Mirror.
The split didn't really affect either of them. "Sarah is perfectly fine. So is Virat. There is nothing surprising about this split. Haven't most cricketer-actress romances come to zilch in the past as well," added the source.
Not all love stories have happy ending but it doesn't make them any less special!
