Vivek’s birthday with Priyanka
Vivek & Priyanka Alva went to Mumbadevi Temple with family to seek the Goddess’ blessings.
Now, a jasoos from Juhu wants me to hear some tiddy-bitty on Vivek Oberoi. Yeah, I know you know that he’s marrying Bengaluru gal Priyanka Alva on October 29.
But there’s still a while before I bring you news about the shaadi ki rasams. For now, Oberoi is busy supervising the family shifting house from their bungalow to an apartment in the neighbourhood.
Reason: the entire place will be rebuilt, says my informer. It was Vivek’s 34th janam din yesterday and I’m told his fiancée Priyanka had flown down to surprise him. So when he walked into his friends Bonnie and Anushree’s house, he was surprised to see her.
Priyanka, who was part of the plan from the beginning, didn’t let Vivs get a whiff of it at all. The party continued till the wee hours of morning. Later, the couple went to Mumbadevi Temple with his family to seek the Goddess’ blessings. The celebrations continued in Goa.
The actor and his fiancee flew there with his family yesterday afternoon, for cousin Vaibhav’s wedding, the functions for which begin today. Not to forget, Priyanka Alva and her family too had been invited. And last night, there was a grand party for the birthday boy.
