Spin king Shane Warne’s brother Jason has denied media reports his older sibling has gone under the knife. The Australian cricketer has been subject to constant speculation that he has undergone a facelift after stepping out with girlfriend Liz Hurley looking years younger.
“I can confirm he has not had any plastic surgery,” the Herald Sun quoted Jason as telling Triple M radio. He, however, declined to answer questions about rumours the pair had recently gotten engaged, saying only “The good thing is that I don''t manage Shane anymore... so I''ll leave that one to his management,” he said.
Few months ago, Warne said that the way the media are trying to portray him as a plastic-surgery loving celebrity is a “disgrace”.
“So my crime is that I''m fitter, healthier and happier than at any stage of my life..”
Shane insisted that his youthful look is purely due to “fitness and being healthy”, adding that "questions re facelift [and] Botox are absolute rubbish”.
