When asked how she was cool with Saif touching her butt in an intimate scene in Love Aaj Kal, Deepika Padukone laughed. “Which day and age are we living in, yaar?” Padukone, who was in Delhi to launch the Swiss watch brand Tissot’s Sea Touch, added, “Gone are the days when we had two flowers nodding on screen to depict a kiss. Today, since Saif and I are playing a couple in the movie, we have to touch and even kiss each other. Physical proximity is high and no one minds.”

Though viewers have already panned the chemistry between Saif and her, Deepika is oblivious. “On the contrary, I’ve been told that the promos are cute and romantic. And the chemistry is just right.”

Buzz has it that Ranbir Kapoor was pushing for Katrina Kaif for a film he was approached for. “I know Ranbir well and I don’t need to buy any of this gossip. He’s a professional. He doesn’t push for anyone. He never pushed for me, so why would he push for Katrina?” she asks? Rumours about an affair between Kat and Ranbir have been rife. She says, “We know how such ‘friendships’ get written about. We’re secure in our relationship and comfortable with each other’s work.” She adds that while they both believe in the institution of marriage, it should happen “only at the right time.”
