As it turns out now, the singer-actress’s aim to change her wild party girl image by indulging in ‘meaningful causes’ has backfired terribly. Bachpan Bachao Andolan, the Delhi based NGO, for which Lohan claimed to have ‘saved 40 kids,’ is now threatening to sue her, claiming it got to know about her dramatic ‘accomplishment’ only from TV channels. “We saw on TV that Lindsay Lohan is in India, and has claimed to save so many children within four hours for our Mukti Punarvaas Kendra in Delhi,” says a bewildered Bhuvan Ribhu, national secretary, Bachpan Bachao Andolan (BBA) to HT City.

Tabloids in US carried stories doubting the actress’ sudden interest in charity on Thursday, after Lohan tweeted constantly about her involvement in the cause of children trafficking in India. Soon afterwards, an apprehensive Lohan removed all the related posts from her Twitter.

Meanwhile, sources from Hotel Taj Bengal in Kolkata, where she had been staying earlier, shared that Lohan extensively used the health club and spa and also had a massage therapist at her disposal round the clock.
