Ridhi Dogra headlines National Geographic India's new series Postcards from Hong Kong: ‘It goes beyond the obvious’

The two-episode travel series featuring Ridhi Dogra explores the city’s hidden landscapes, cultural depth.

Actor Ridhi Dogra fronts a two-episode travel series that explores Hong Kong’s hidden landscapes and cultural depth. Titled Postcards from Hong Kong, the show is produced by National Geographic Creative Works and offers a new perspective on one of Asia’s most iconic destinations. It also uncovers hidden gems that challenge conventional perceptions of Hong Kong. The show, fronted by Ridhi Dogra, is now streaming on National Geographic India.

In Postcards, Ridhi helps in connecting with local influencers and guides, giving viewers a real, first-hand look at the city and its people. She explores destinations such as Sai Kung, Big Wave Bay, Dragon’s Back, Tai O, Ngong Ping, Po Lin Monastery, and the Tian Tan Buddha.

Talking about the show, the actor said: “Being part of Postcards from Hong Kong with Nat Geo was a deeply enriching experience. Meanwhile, Puneet Kumar, Director, South Asia, Hong Kong Tourism Board added, "Postcards from Hong Kong is a reflection of meaningful storytelling that brings the city to life in an immersive way. Through this collaboration with National Geographic, the series showcases a side of the city that many travellers are yet to discover—from scenic trails and coastal escapes to rich cultural traditions and vibrant local communities. It beautifully captures the diversity and spirit that define Hong Kong.”

Postcards From Hong Kong premiered on 28 March, on National Geographic Channel. The series is available to stream on JioHotstar.
