The who's who of the country attended the grand wedding ceremony of MP, NK Singh's son Abhijeet Singh with Maharaja Rajendra Singh's daughter Viveka Kumari, held at the Umaid Bhawan Palace in Jodhpur. As the night sky lit up with grand fireworks and hundreds of camera flashes, industrialists Mukesh Ambani with wife Nita, son Akash and daughter Isha, Vijay Mallya, lyricist Javed Akhtar, actor Shabana Azmi, and civil aviation minister Praful Patel were seen blessing the couple.
Also spotted were deputy chairman of the planning commission Montek Singh Ahluwalia with wife Isher Judge, Maharaja Arvind Singh Mewar, Maharaja Gaj Singh and designer Raghavendra Rathore among other prominent personalities. It wasn’t just the fairytale nuptials that left the guests spellbound. “This is my first visit to Jodhpur, and I am in love with everything,” said Nita Ambani.
