He is not proclaiming his love for Aloo Chaat co-star Aamna Shariff, but Aftab Shivdasani is not denying their link-up either. Asked if there are sparks flying between the two or if it’s just a publicity stunt for the film, he says, “It is definitely not a publicity stunt. I would like to believe it’s media hype.” So, are the two an item? “I don’t like talking about my personal life. I don’t like being in the limelight if it’s not for my work,” he says.

He admits Aamna is a good co-star, though. “She is a very good actress, no doubt. She has so much experience in the television industry. Although I hadn’t seen her serial, I found her very natural in front of the camera. There was never a dull moment on the sets. Everyone was so humourous and entertaining. In fact, Robbie (the film’s director) and I used to play cricket on the sets since we are both sports freaks,” he says. Talking about the film, he says, “It’s a light hearted film about how I wriggle out of a sticky situation.”

The actor says that shooting in Delhi was a memorable experience. “We shot in Chandni Chowk and it was quite exciting because Delhiites don’t get to see many shootings. They mobbed us for autographs, stood for hours to see us. It was
really exciting.”
