Indian-origin Hollywood actor Freida Pinto, 26, was in for a surprise remark recently when she was referred to as ‘dude’ by host Jon Stewart on his show, The Daily Show.

Indian-origin Hollywood actor Freida Pinto, 26, was in for a surprise remark recently when she was referred to as ‘dude’ by host Jon Stewart on his show, The Daily Show.

“You just called me dude?” she asked Stewart in surprise, to which, he shot back saying, “That’s what I even called the president when he was here (on my show).” Pinto didn’t mind the reference and accepted it in laughter.

She appeared on the show to promote her latest flick, Rise of the Planet of the Apes, that releases worldwide on Friday.
