Faith Shorts is a global film competition run by the Tony Blair Faith Foundation, providing young people with the opportunity to express their faith through film.
The competition will culminate on July 22 at the British Academy of Film and Television Arts (BAFTA) and will be hosted by British television presenter Adrian Chiles.
The three winners will be flown to London to introduce their three-minute films in person. The films deal with family, loss, adversity and hope. Entries have been shortlisted from countries including India, US, Egypt, Argentina, Pakistan, UK, New Zealand, Singapore, Lebanon, Jordan, Singapore, and the Philippines.
The 50 best entries were awarded flip cameras. The panel of judges includes Tony Blair, Jonathan Caplan QC, Hugh Jackman , Anil Kapoor, Jet Li, Wendi Murdoch, Natalie Portman, Queen Rania of Jordan, Rabbi David Rosen, June Sarpong, Deepak Verma and the Tony Blair Faith Foundation Fellows.

{{/usCountry}}“Let me show you how my faith inspires me’ was the brief given to contestants in three categories - up to 18 years, 18 – 25 years without access to filming equipment and 18-25 year old filmmakers with access to filming equipment. Five of the shortlisted entries from India were in the under-18 category.
The Tony Blair Faith Foundation is working with Pukkanasha films on this project.
