Katrina Kaif and Kareena Kapoor are set to become family of sorts. The yoga trainers of two of the hottest actresses in Bollywood are getting hitched... to each other. Manish Tiwari, Katrina’s trainer, and Payal Gidwani, Bebo’s fitness instructor, are tying the knot on May 29.
Taking time out from a yoga session with Kat, Manish spoke to HT City about the romance and wedding plans. “It was love at first sight,” he said, explaining that he had met Payal at a friend’s wedding four years ago. Love bloomed, and “we decided to get married six months ago”, he said.
They may not be celebrities themselves, but their wedding certainly promises to be a high-profile event. Not only Kat and Bebo, but their other clients — Sridevi (Manish’s client) and Saif Ali Khan, Farah Khan and Rani Mukherji (Payal’s clients) — are on the guest list as well. The sangeet is on May 27, the mehendi on May 28. The wedding takes place on May 29 with the reception on the last day of the month.
When Manish broke the news to Sridevi, with a formal invite in hand, she was thrilled. “Oh, she was very happy and she congratulated me. And jokingly told me, ‘It’s high time that you got married’,” said Manish.
What makes their relationship rock, despite the pressures of their demanding jobs? “We complement each other very well, and make a world of difference to each other,” Manish replied.
