Twenty-one years after Audrey Hepburn's death, her granddaughter Emma Ferrer is making her modeling debut on the cover of the American magazine.

The descendent of the Breakfast at Tiffany's star posed for Harper's Bazaar in a series of looks that call to mind her grandmother's timeless style. In an interesting parallel, Ferrer was lensed by Michael Avedon, grandson of the legendary photographer Richard Avedon, who was Audrey Hepburn's friend and frequent collaborator.

Ferrer never knew her grandmother, who died in 1993, but she shared a few thoughts about her with the magazine: "I remember seeing a photo of her jumping on a trampoline -- I believe this was before I understood that she was famous. But I remember thinking that she looked like a friend I wish I could have had."

The 20-year-old Ferrer makes her modeling debut on the cover of the subscriber edition of the magazine. The edition sold in newsstands is available with three covers featuring Penelope Cruz, Lady Gaga or Linda Evangelista.
