Italian designer Roberto Cavalli has cancelled his catwalk show for his label Just Cavalli at the Milan Fashion Week (MFW) after its distributor Ittierre filed for bankruptcy.

"I have made the decision to safeguard the image and clients of Just Cavalli," said Roberto Cavalli, reports vogue.co.uk.

"The difficult situation of Ittierre doesn't give me the guarantee or security that my young line will be as avant-garde as always," he added.

Just Cavalli line caters to younger generation and is a bit informal.

Though the main Roberto Cavalli show is still on schedule for March 1 during Milan Fashion week scheduled for Feb 25-March 4.
