“Indians tend to be very humble and sell themselves short. There are so many people who have excellent credentials, but they don’t know how to market themselves,” she says. “Our aim is to repackage these people and bring out the best in them.”

Gujral disagrees that grooming workshops are a dwindling trade in today’s times. “In fact, this is the right time,” she stresses. “Earlier it was only for people in the airlines and hospitality industry. Now, whether one is a CEO, housewife or student, it is important to come across as polished and confident.”

The new venture will be launched in Mumbai and New Delhi soon, but Gujral hopes to expand to other metros and sub-metros in the near future. She is also toying with the idea of starting a beauty pageant. “I did some research on the subject, and the response was tremendous and very positive,” she says.
