From romantic shades of cotton-candy pink to purple-icious hues — many Hollywood celebs have seen opting for shades of the statement hue. Many of these fashionistas are also known to use hair chalks to create a two-toned ombre effect, which can easily be washed off. The latest to hop on the lilac-love bandwagon is troubled star Amanda Bynes, who tweeted her picture straight from the salon.

Actor Lena Dunham dyed her goblin green last month and posted this adorable picture. Other celebs who have been known to go the peacock-plume hued way include model and reality star Kylie Jenner and singer Demi Lovato.

If there’s one pop diva who has a constant love-lock with dyed hair, it has to be singer Katy Perry.

Through the years, she’s tried almost everything — from dip-dyed multicolours, goblin green and retro pink to indigo, smurf blue, classic blond and jet black. Latest in Perry’s pallette is a fiery shade of scarlet that she debuted back in September.
