Model-actor Sahil Shroff made his film debut opposite Priyanka Chopra and Shah Rukh Khan in Don 2 (2011), though the beefy ramp walker has made quite a name for himself on the runway and in ad films.
“When I left to study in Australia, everybody was against it, and said that I had a career in modelling. I got a call from a friend when I was there, asking me to come back and join the industry, so I did,” he says with a grin. The one thing that surprised him about the industry he was poised to join? “The fact that you have to wax your legs and chest!” he says with a laugh, adding, “But I chose the easy way out and used a body hair trimmer. At least it didn’t make me feel like a woman.”
