The Capital’s beautiful people huddled up for a different setting altogether, as fashion designer Sunil Mehra previewed his spring summer 2011 collection, titled Madhurya.
Inspired by Vrindavan in the moonlight, the designer was at his regular best with formal, fusion and traditional wear revolving around Lord Krishna’s life. Held at the Taj Palace hotel, the venue glittered with shades of cream, white, beige and hints of gold as guests streamed in to take their seats.
Once the show started, all eyes were on the clothes. Seen at the do was designer Anupama Dayal, who came dressed for summer in a light, breezy outfit accessorised with a chic yellow necklace, designer Pam Mehta who wore a slinky shiny number, entrepreneur Divya Gurwara, and beauty guru Samantha Kochhar, among others.
