Turns out lingerie giant Victoria’s Secret sure had a secret to keep.
A new report by United States based Bloomberg News, based on a 2008 study, suggests that the billion-dollar brand’s lingerie is made from cotton produced by undernourished children in Africa, who are forced to work long hours for no pay.
The brand’s officials, however, claim that there is no truth to the reports.
“We are vigorously engaging with stakeholders to fully investigate this matter,” said Tammy Roberts Myers, the spokesperson of the brand.
