Foundation first: Though foundation is not recommended for this season, apply the one with a matte-effect. Sheer application is better, and it should be powdered generously. The tone of your foundation should be of warmer shades like orange and red.

Blush basics: Use little blush and apply it only on the apples of the cheek.
Lip plumper: For the lips, use a pencil of desired shade and then fill them up. Then dab the lips with an eye shadow or blush of the same shade to set the lipstick.
Humid conditions: Cream bases either fade away or crease off. Use powder based eye shadows. Pink and brown shades are best suited for the monsoon season. Use water-resistant mascara and eyeliner.
Sealer wise: Use a sealer after makeup application. The sealer comes in a spray form by many professional brands. One may also use a pancake of the right shade.
Hair show: Keep your hairstyles easy and basic. Avoid any updos, and don’t use mousse or gel.
