Natalie Portman has been named as the new face of Parfums Christian Dior. The Closer star has joined the likes of Sharon Stone, Charlize Theron who also endorse the fashion house.

Israeli-American actress Natalie Portman has been named as the new face of Parfums Christian Dior.

It's the first time the 28-year-old actress has represented a fragrance and cosmetics brand, Women's Wear Daily reported.

Apart from Portman, star other celebrities endorsing the fashion house in advertisements include Sharon Stone, Charlize Theron, Monica Bellucci, Jude Law and Alain Delon.

The Closer star has constantly maintained that she couldn't handle any other job than being an actress except maybe working as a bike messenger.

"I can make chitchat, but not much else," she told Interview magazine. I'd basically have trouble with any job that doesn't require me to wear silly clothes and talk in funny voices," Portman had said in an interview.
