Skin care products firm Neutrogena has dropped Bollywood actress Deepika Padukone as its brand ambassador, a company official said.
"We have not renewed the contract with her. We partnered with her and both of us enjoyed working together," Johnson & Johnson Consumer Products Division Manoj Gadgil told PTI here without revealing the reasons for not renewing the contract with Deepika who was associated with the brand for two years.
The last campaign that the actress did for the company was for its 'Fine Fairness Mask', he said. Neutrogena is a 40-year old global brand and offers over 400 products in the international markets. The company has, however, renewed its contract with its other brand ambassador, bollywood actress Prachi Desai. "Prachi Desai is very much on board for the next couple of years," he said. Padukone currently endorses brands like Nescafe, Sony Cybershot camera, ITC's Fiama, Tissot Watches among others.
