Product:

Vichy SPF 50 Capital Soleil

Promise:

High protection 50 SPF, mattifying face fluid, dry touch

Pros:

If your aversion for sunscreens began with the oily sheath they left behind, Vichy’s latest may change your perception. This cream seems to sink into the skin, leaving it oil-free and frankly, smootherto touch.

Sun

We tried it for about two weeks and though our work involves barely two-three hours in the scorching sun, the skin colour remained relatively uniform, but it did not lighten.

Cons:

If you are one of those speed dressers, you may want to slow down or better, get yourself a pocket mirror. Though the sunscreen product absorbs into the skin when applied evenly, a hurried application is bound to leave behind powdery white residue.

Suitable for daily use, Vichy’s latest lives by all that it promises. However, it’s a bit pricey at Rs 850 and the SPF 50 doesn’t leave you with astounding fairness, as one would imagine!
