Most people experience a spike in hairfall, mainly because you tend to get wet more frequently. “Since hair attracts a lot of moisture from the air, it becomes damp. Also, when people get drenched in the rain, they don’t dry their hair. Due to excessive pulling and tying of the hair, it breaks, leading to hair fall,” says Shailesh Moolya, technical director of Juice. He recommends drying your mane immediately and leaving it loose to avoid breakage.

He also recommends adding Vitamin E, zinc, fish oil and spinach to your diet to improve the hair quality. Moolya advises those with frizz problems to opt for a Keratin treatment. “It’s a big hit this season as the hair becomes frizziest in the monsoon. The best part with this treatment is that you can wash it the same day and no aftercare is required. It also adds shine and makes your mane cottony soft,” he says.
