Not Kate Middleton, Princess Charlotte inspires new Marc Jacobs lipstick
Marc Jacobs was inspired by one particular occupant of Kensington Palace for a new Le Marc lip creme lipstick. Apologies to the Duchess of Cambridge, Kate Middleton, but the muse behind the newest Marc Jacobs beauty lacquer is the royal residence’s youngest tenant, Princess Charlotte, 9 months.
Kate Middleton has been known to inspire trends season after season. And it turns out that being a muse runs in her family — Kate’s 9-month-old daughter, Princess Charolotte, was on the minds of the creative team at Marc Jacobs Beauty when they designed a new pink lipstick shade.

Just months before her first birthday on May 2, the baby royal has officially made her debut into the world of beauty: Marc Jacobs Beauty have taken inspiration from royalty for their new beauty launch, naming its new lipstick after the Duke and Duchess of Cambridge’s daughter Princess Charlotte, reports WWD.
The new Charlotte lipstick, which has been “inspired by the deepest saturated pink tones of an English rose,” is part of the Le Marc lip crème collection.
The new shade will be exclusive in the UK to the luxury store Harrods, priced at £24 ($34). The Knightsbridge store commented on the news saying it was the biggest color cosmetics launch in its history.
