Flaunting nude tones seems to be the ‘in’ thing when you want to make a style statement this season. Bollywood’s top girls such as Priyanka Chopra, Sonam Kapoor, Alia Bhatt, Kareena Kapoor Khan and Raveena Tandon Thadani, have been spotted flaunting this shade at recent public appearances.

“Nude is the new black this season.It is the best bet for summer,” says designer Nikhil Mehra.

Designer Rina Dhaka explains, “The best thing about these nude shades are that there are many variations of the basic colour and you can pick one that works best for your skin tone. Nude is great for the Indian skin tone.”

Being neutral, nudes and blush tones can be toned down or played up with accessories, according to occasion. “For a party look, you can jazz up your nude-coloured attire with metallic accessories,” says designer Nida Mahmoood.
