We saw the lead couple of the film, Ishaqzaade, Parineeti Chopra and Arjun Kapoor wear matching outfits in the movie, and recently real-life couple, actors Neil Nitin Mukesh and Sonal Chauhan were spotted wearing clothes made from the same fabric.

Delhi, too, is bang on the trend. Pooja Guha, a resident of GK II who got matching tunics and shirts designed for herself and her boyfriend says, “It’s cool to wear matching prints. We look different from others.”
Designers, too, are flooded with requests for matching outfits. Designer Gautam Gupta says, “Couples are asking for matching party wear, club wear and wedding attire.”
But, does the trend fare well on the stylo-meter? “It’s cheesy. Couples are not twins, so why match outfits?,” says designer Payal Jain. But designer Rina Dhaka disagrees. “If there are emotions attached with dressing up alike, there’s nothing wrong in that,” she says.
