Delhi’s fash frat got some reprieve from the rising mercury as designer Rina Dhaka showcased her Hi Summer’11 collection at DLF Emporio on Monday. There was more for the designer to be happy about since one of her creations has been named a best seller at the prestigious US chain store, Anthropology. “It’s an amazing dress and I’m glad it;s doing so well,” said FDCI president Sunil Sethi, who is also the buyer for the store in India.
While models Lakshmi Rana, Sapna Kumar and Shreya Sabharwal posed in Dhaka’s creations, seen having a sip of vino and chatting up were designers Suneet Varma, Tarun Tahiliani, Manav Gangwani, entrepreneurs Navin Ansal, Sanjay Passi with wife Shalini, Sanjay Sharma, fitness experts Vesna Jacob and Rahul Dev. Some guests were also seen shopping for their upcoming summer vacations at the stores in Emporio.
