Cigars, scotch and a bunch of beautiful ladies... this was the heady combination as Italian luxury men’s label, Canali, along with cigar baron Chetan Seth, hosted a bash in Delhi recently. The evening saw a quick lesson in cigar appreciation and a viewing of the spring-summer 2011 collection of the brand. Joining Seth at the bash was his daughter Ameeta Seth with hubby entrepreneur Vibhor Sharma, model Neha Kapur, Pakistan’s deputy high commissioner Syed Zulfikar Gardezy, artist Baba Anand, and many more.
While guests sampled the delicious fare and nursed their scotch, we couldn’t help but overhear Ameeta trying ever so hard to convince dad Chetan to try on a lemon-yellow linen shirt. “It’ll be my birthday gift to you, just try it on,” she insisted. After her hubby Vibhor joined in as well, Chetan finally asked for the shirt in his size. Looks like daughter does know best, eh?
