Ashish Pandey: “I was a total rebel in school and college. I’ve done all the whacky stuff. Even if it was wearing a school uniform I would want to be different. So, I would paint my white canvas shoes with crayons and sketch pen and make pop art on them. I had pierced my ear when I was in school and was also suspended, but it was definitely a lot of fun. In college I would wear georgette see-through pyjama called culottes with tight t-shirt. I went skinhead when I was in college and had two ‘F’ words written at the back of my head. I was thrown out of my internship for a week because of this.

Malini Ramani: “In my college days, I would wear a lot of mini skirts and basic jeans with t-shirt. My biggest fashion fiasco — perming my hair, and that too not once or twice but eight times."

Vikram Phadnis: “I would dress in casuals as I do even now — a shirt with a pair of blue jeans and canvas shoes to team it up. I don’t think I ever made any fashion fiasco then and if I did, why would I tell?”

Poonam Bhagat: “I was very confused in college. We were so naïve and simple unlike youngsters these days. We wore nothing extravagant, a simple jeans and a t-shirt would do. Sometimes 36-inch flare bell-bottoms with a tight shirt, and we thought it was very cool then. My fashion disaster? I fell in love with the colour pink and went into a kind of over drive. I wore a pink strawberry t-shirt from Benzer, pink corduroys, and a pink jacket. I have never worn pink since.”
