Sanjit Rath’s life is in for a change. A student of National Institute of Design, Ahmedabad, Rath’s been chosen by a jury of design heavyweights over 320 applicants as ‘The Debut’.

An all-expenses paid trip to an international fashion fair and an opportunity to work with Wills Lifestyle now await him. In an initiative to give young designers a push, students from National Institute of Fashion Technology, Delhi and Mumbai, Kolkata and Bangalore, Pearl Academy of Fashion, and National Institute of Design, Ahmedabad, were given a chance to participate in an all-India talent hunt. For the fourth edition of this hunt, design students were given a theme — ‘Sunhera Kal - For all our tomorrows’ and were asked to make two garments each to signify continuous existence, product and technology innovations, which promote sustainability of life.
