The daughter of Princess Anne beat her peers under the age of 12 to top the UK poll.

British royal Zara Phillips has been voted the new face of Barbie in a new poll by doll makers Mattel.

According to femalefirst, the survey of 1,000 girls under the age of 12 found that the daughter of Princess Anne has the right combination of style, beauty, independence and sporting success.

The blonde horse-riding champion beat off the competition from model Jordan, who recently looked like a Barbie doll in a pink dress at her marriage with beau Peter Andre.
